“Out of harm's way” — don’t we all wish this for our children? Each day we see, hear, or read the challenges that face children — physical, drug, alcohol abuse; poor nutrition; a broken home or no home; juvenile crime; etc., and wonder where it is going or will it stop. Community action groups are banding together with law enforcement and child welfare agencies, parents and schools to do their best to correct these problems facing children. Much good is being accomplished, but there is much yet to be done.
