To the Editor:
How often does a person have the opportunity to contribute to finding a cure for cancer, help those who suffer from that disease and at the same time, have fun? All of those who participate in the “Relay For Life” doe exactly that.
This program is so much more than a fund raising event. It is both light hearted and joyous, as well as emotional, when we honor cancer survivors and remember the victims of this dread disease. Because of events such as this, the list of survivors is growing longer as the list of victims diminishes.
Most families have been touched in some way by cancer, but even if yours has not we urge everyone to join
