No records were broken this year at the 24th running of the Fodderstack 10-K Classic sponsored by The Inn at Little Washington.

The threat of rainy weather kept 27 of the pre-registered participants at home, but there Was a field of 194 runners, walkers, and baby carriage pushers ranging in age from 9 to 79 - Tiffany Way land - Walt Washburn.

This year was a first, for giving cash prizes for the first thiUe runners (male and female) who crossed the finish line. The $75 winners were Deidre Gallagher and Mike Lehman; the $50 winners were Monica Bracken and Tbby Conley and the $25 winners were Shannon Nally and Mark Vann.

The Eva Smith Memorial saw a repeat winner with Phillip Thomas (40:44) who was fourth overall and took home his third trophy and a newcomer to Rappahannock, Monica Bracken, (43:42) who was 11th overall. Monica became a full time resident last year and generally runs longer races. She has even run a marathon!
