In a 10-horae race, suppose you might cut the odds in half. Then each horse would go off at 4.5-1 or 9-2 odds. You might even structure the race so that one horse goes off a 1-1, two go off at 21, three at 3-1 and 4 at 4-1.

Try that a couple of times on the early races, and before you know it, your pockets will be bulging with your friends’ money.

But if they win, how do you pay off? Easy. You add the odds together, and multiply it by the amount bet. If someone has bet $1,000 on a horse that goes off at 2-1, and he wins, what do you pay out? $3,000.

If someone bets $2,000 on a horse that wins at 6-1? Well, six plus one is seven. Multiplied by $2,000, you’ll pay off $14,000.

So there you have it This way, everybody gets to bet on the horse they want, they get to bet big money and you determine how mutjr you pay out. Just like a real boykie.

Enjoy the day!
