Soccer
While the “boys of summer” and the softball girls were battling the Tigers, Panthers and Eagles, the guys and gals of soccer were locked into their own struggles with several of those opponents. The varsity boys hosted Brentsville on Tuesday afternoon, April 16, and played their worst game of the year.
Unable to mount any coordinated attacks on offense, the varsity Panthers were subjected to a 6 to 0 defeat before their home crowd. It was a tired and somewhat demoralized team that left the field that night and then traveled to Berryville to face the Eagles of Clarke County on Friday, April 19.
