Farfelu Winery’s

spring fete set

Farfelu Winery, Virginia's oldest licensed farm winery, will introduce five new wines and celebrate the arrival of spring on Sunday, May 5 from noon to 5 p.m. Activities will include: three live bands playing folk, bluegrass and eclectic (celtic, new age, modern Irish l music; lawn games; a pig roast; area crafters selling pottery, art and gourmet foods and the inauguration of Farfelu’s brand new deck overlooking its vineyard.

Farfelu has been making artisan wines for almost 25 years. On May 5, it will inaugurate five new additions to its inventory: 2001 Chardonnay; 1999 Reserve Syrah; Fou de Rouge (a Sangiovese Cabernet Franc blend); Vidal Blanc and Folly
