Based on new knowledge and greater familiarity, I am beginning to do a major “reassessment” of how I previously viewed “folk art.” In the past, I had not given this art outside the mainstream as much attention as it deserves. Thanks to a recent tourof a private folk art museum near Woodville, my “art appreciation” has been stretched and made whole.
