I believe the growth of the
Town is somewhat self-regulating.
The cost of land has become too high for the construction of small houses and available land is limited. Any new construction w'ould probably have to take place adjacent to the Town if such land were made available. I believe that new construction should only be permitted on lots which are sufficient in size to provide drainfields for years to come. The Rush River has a very small ability to handle septic discharge and land available for major drain fields is limited. I believe large lots are appropriate for a country Town and that we must recognize the limits on the ability of towns of small populations to provide sendees.
