Above everything, light blue, green and pink clouds float in a faintly pink and yellow sky. This painting manifests the dynamic quality of all the others. It is as if Chris Stephens were saying, “No matter where I look around here there is a picture.”

“Late Light”, “Light Blue” and "Light Fall” are roughly the same scene, but the moods are different and as a result they tell their stories differently. Each picture is another conversation with a friend. This show is a major event in our community. Don’t miss it.

The are exhibited in the “Members Room”, behind the main exhibit, are wonderfully varied and admirable. They demonstrate the artistic strength of our area - our good fortune to have a cooperating group composing the Middle Street Gallery. Several pieces there are also Chris Stephens’ work.
