The following is a message from Debbie Keyser.
It is with a heavy heart that I write to tell you that my mother. Sally Keyser. had a stroke this past week. Due to this event. Mom will be unable to continue her writings for the newspaper for a while.
It is hard to believe that it has been almost two years since she began writing her article. She didn't have any forma! writing positions prior to her assignment with the Rappahannock News. I think the success of her articles came from the fact that she was writing about the many passions of her life.
Mom loved her family, friends and her life growing up in Rappahannock County. The values and traditions she learned were the ones she shared when she raised her own family.
In 1984. she had a heart attack. We were all told she wouldn’t make it but she proved everyone wrong! Since then. Mom has seized and enjoyed every moment of her life. It has been her perseverance. passion for life and a great attitude that has gotten
