Monitoring

The Virginia Department of Education will be conducting a routine monitoring of Rappahannock County Public School's special education services. The on-site monitoring will occur during the week of April 29.

The Rappahannock County Special Education Advisory Committee is sponsoring a meeting on April 30 for parents and students to provide public comment about educational issues impacting students with disabilities.

The committee invites you to participate in this meeting to share your views regarding services to students with disabilities in Rappahannock County Public Schools. Representatives from the Department of Education will be present.

Would you like to consider helping others as an employment mentor? A free training program has been planned for volunteers from Rappahannock and other counties in the region.

Persons with all backgrounds can participate. You can become a highly effective mentor in one-onone counseling for individuals looking for solutions to employment situations.
