This week, April 21-27 is “National Volunteer Week” and the Culpeper Regional Hospital, as well as many others, is in need of volunteers.
“Volunteers A Gift To Our Communities” is the theme for this year. People from the hospital will be traveling to our surrounding counties this Week in an effort to secure more volunteers. There will be representatives in Orange, Madison, Rappahannock and Culpeper to answer any questions concerning the auxiliary and anyone who can help volunteer in anyway will have the opportunity to sign up.
For Rappahannock County, recruiting will take place at the Library in Washington on US 211. Anyone who has the time and willing to become a volunteer, should call H. Thomas at 825y2D2028 for information.
In our birthday list this week we’d like to extend wishes to friends, Barbara C. Tharp who adds another year tomorrow, Thursday, and Mrs. Effie Foster, who celebrates her day on Saturday and to Kelly Cubbage who claims Sunday as her day. May our Lord grant each of you many more on this earth.
For anyone in the area of GrifTinsburg with out a church home, Rev Bob Rooper and his congregation at Griffinsburg Baptist invite you to Sunday School at 10 a.m. and worship at 11.
