Pete’s passion in assembling his folk art collection, and the enthusiasm and knowledge with which he talks about his life-long hobby is fascinating. The breadth of his “collection” is absolutely mind-bogglingover 12,000 catalogued items! There’s nothing that doesn’t interest him, or that he doesn’t collect for one reason or the other. It is Folk Art taken to the nth degree! This is a once-in-alifetime opportunity to “experience” this extraordinary folk art collection and to meet an astute and personable collector.
Special guided tours of this private folk art museum will be held under the auspices of the Ki Theatre on May 18. The private tours, made by reservations and confirmed as to time slots, cost $25 per person and are tax deductible. Proceeds will raise much-needed funds for Ki Theatre’s ongoing programs of cultural enrichment for the community.
A limited-seating benefactor dinner on May 18 will be a catered, gourmet meal with the collector as lecturer/docent for a $500 per person tax-deducible contribution.
