Elections for the Town of Washington mayor, treasurer, and for five councilpersons will be held on May 7, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Washington Fire Hall. Voting, of course, is open only to registered voters in the Town. The candidates for mayor and for treasurer are running unopposed, and six candidates are running for the five council seats.
To aid Washington town voters in reaching their decisions, the Rappahannock News has presented the candidates with three questions, and asked for their responses to these questions and for a brief biographic sketch. The questions
