win.. Whose money would yoa win in that case? You’d get your -own ^rtioney back, i t i The next way — and the wiy l like the best — is to set up someone (how about you?) as a quasi-bookie. Before you go to the races, make a trip to the nearest game store and purchase some play money. Make that a lot of play money.

On race day, you can “sell” the money to those of your group who want to bet, say $1,000 in play money for $10, or some other figure. It’s up to you. Then your friends can be betting a couple of hundred, or thousand, on each race.

Makes it seem more fun to say, “I’ve got 2 G’s riding on this race!” Just like a big-time gambler!

At the end of the day, you pay off at the same rate that they bought the betting money at the beginning, or it could be different, depending on you.

If your intention is to give back every dollar that has been paid in, you’ll total up every dollar that was paid out, divide it by the total of every dollar that was paid in, and pay off your friends at that rate.
