Oak Springs Nursing Home after many years of declining health.
He was bom November 23, 1925 in Washington, VA to the late Dewey DeJamette Hudson and Madie Florence Corder Hudson.
Mr. Hudson was a member of Gid Brown Bible Baptist Church.
He will be remembered as the friendly, jovial man who never met a stranger on his daily walk around Washington, VA. that he didn’t say “hello” to.
He is survived by six siblings, Doris Hudson Coughlin of Castleton, Mary Hudson Williams of Flint Hill, Granville Gordon Hudson of Flint Hill, Frances Hudson Payne of Culpeper, Phyllis Hudson Yancy of Viewtowm, and Henry Rivers Hudson of Washington.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward Brown Hudson, and Herndon Conway Hudson.
A graveside service was held Saturday, July 15 at Washington Masonic Cemetery with Rev. John Burke officiating.
Pallbearers were Eddie Williams, Michael Williams, Wayne Payne, Wayne Weller, Mark Hudson, and David Hudson. ' Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Gid Brown Bible Baptist Church, P.O. Box 174, Washington, VA 22747.
