Judging by the results of her grand opening, which was held on Wednesday, July 5, she is off to a successful start.
Lucky McCoy, the owner of the building that houses American Image, agreed to fix up the historic building so that Woodward could open her very own salon. Woodward favors the country theme when it comes to decorating, and she wanted to keep that theme, so she came up with the American Image Salon. According to Woodward, after she came up with the name, the rest just sort of came together for her, painting all three rooms with the American flag colors of red, white and blue.
The first room has one chair for cutting hair with a CD of country music playing for the customers. There is a small wooden sofa with wagon wheels, and a desk for the appointment
