The Annual Rappahannock Lions Club Picnic was held at the county’s recreation park on July 13, with some 50 members and spouses attending to witness the installation of officers for 2006-07. Past club president Bob Anderson was the installing official. Outgoing president Dave Hilty presented the club’s gavel to incoming president Bob Lander and Anderson charged the elected officers and directors with their assigned duties for the coming year.
