Public perception
Since they brought the matter to light, the Crosses said they have received plenty of support from friends, acquaintances and even total strangers.
They said they want to stress that they are not pursuing the matter for financial gain.
“Neither my wife nor I are asking for any money,” Monty Cross said last week. “We are asking concerned citizens to send letters to the governor, their state representatives and the DGIF.”
