There is some very good news, local area farmers are producing some of the most spectacular fruit of the year. The peaches are the size of softballs and so juicy that before eating you might want to put on some old clothes because you will get messy, the blueberries are dazzling in their azure blue hues, the watermelons are plump and robust, there’s forest green squash, apples swinging in the delicate breeze just waiting to be picked, and blackberries the size of ping pong balls; the list could just go on and on.
