Cooling assistance applications
Assistance available for needy families this summer. Applications accepted from June 15 through August 15. Assistance is available to households that include a child or children under age six, a disabled individual, or an adult age 60 and over who meet income and eligibility requirements.
The maximum gross monthly income to qualify for cooling assistance is $1,062 before taxes for a household of one and $2,167 before taxes for a family of four. June 20-August 23:
Weight Watchers session begins
A new 10-week session of Weight Watchers will begin at Rappahannock County High School if there are 15 people interested. Cost is $120 per person. Please contact Kelly Settle at( 540) 987-8575 if you are interested or for more information. Session dates: June 20 - August 23.
Blue Rock Inn rocks with music
Join us for “patio season” at the Blue Rock. All shows will be out on the scenic patio, weather permitting. Shows start at 7 pm. Cover charge is $5 and $9. at Gray Ghost Vineyards
Throughout the month of July, Gray Ghost is hosting a food drive to benefit the Culpeper Food Closet. Any food or monetary donation enters you in a drawing for tickets to Gray Ghost’s Holiday Open House! Winners will be contacted by phone and the tickets will be mailed. House closed for summer vacation
Flint Hill Public House will be closed for summer vacation from July 19th through August 4th. They will re-open on Friday August 4th for BBQ night and it will continue through the end of September.
