PATTI MABRY
For Patti Mabry, life is all about helping others. As an administrative assistant in the Social Services Department, Patti assists patients by placing them into rehabilitation facilities or nursing homes for continuing care. 'I love my job," Patti says. "1 especially enjoy helping the elderly. They deserve respect and consideration, but a lot of times they don't get it." Patti is the volunteer coordinator for the hospital’s holiday Adopt-aFamily and Adopt-a-Senior programs, and she also helps the local Sexual Assault Victims Volunteer Initiative in her spare time. "It feels good to help these people," she savs, "because- many of them don't have anyone else." Patti has been with Fauquier Hospital for nine years and she plans to , stay. “1 really like it here," Patti savs. 'Everyone at the hospital has a deep passion for helping the patients and family members, which makes it a great place to work."
