The county was gripped with uncertainty as Ira Wayne (Cloniger) avoided capture in the beautiful hills surrounding our quiet community, the everpresent sights and sounds of law enforcement in pursuit could be observed night and day. As the dragnet tightened around the accused killer, our SherifFs department worked with law enforcement from neighboring counties to bring this fugitive to justice.
Now that the accused murderer has been captured, the Hollow and the county at large are breathing a sigh of relief, and for that we are very grateful.
