Webb won tbe majority ot votes at the Flint Hill, Scrabble, Sperryville and Town of Washington polling stations. He was most popular in Sperryville, where he took in 59 percent of the votes.
Allen landed the majority at the Amissville and Chester Gap polling stations. In Chester Gap, he took in 65 percent of the votes.
As of 5 p.m. Wednesday, Webb had a narrow 7,300-vote lead in his bid to unseat Allen.
Webb declared victory around 1 a.m. Wednesday, speaking to supporters in Tysons Corner.
