Cornfield trip
Hearthstone School recently took its annual field trip to the Com Maze in The Plains, Virginia. This year’s theme was All About Bats, and each station in the maze included a question about bats with several answers, all pointing in different directions.
Only the correct answer pointed the way to the next station in the maze. Students raced to be the first to finish and, as usual, the high school students made it through the maze in record time, followed by the lower school students and kindergartners.
Lots of fun was had by all at the annual event, and eveiyone learned some interesting facts about bats.
