Nov. 10: Veteran’s Day program
Rappahannock County High School students will conduct a Veteran’s Day program in the gym at 11 a.m. The public is invited free of charge for the program and a short reception following. Rapidan community forum
Held at the Rappahannock Public Library, two sessions: 10 to 11:30 a.m. And 4:30 to 6 p.m. The library will remain open for this event, designed to help people learn more about hospice care. For information phone 540-825-4840.
Nov. 11: Annual CCLC Auction
Everyone is invited to CCLC’s Eleventh Annual Fall Auction and party on Saturday, November 11, at the Washington School on Mt. Salem Avenue. Doors open at 5:30 pm for guests to browse and bid on silent auction offerings, purchase priced items from the Sursum Corda Shoppe, and enjoy a gourmet feast catered by the RCHS culinary arts class. The $25 entry fee entitles guests to food, libations, and fun, as the Washington School brims with unique treasures (antiques, art, vacation packages, rugs, silver, collectibles) up for bid during a live auction at 7p.m. Proceeds benefit CCLC’s programs for the pre-school and school-age children of Rappahannock.
