If we had lights at our fields they would not have to leave until the school day was done, as we would not have to start the games before 6 p.m. Parents who work out of the county, which in our case is about 80%, would be able to come and watch their children play their games. The students in Rappahannock could go home and do homework or get a nutritious meal, instead of waiting around the high school doing Lord knows what until game time.
