And finally, I m utterly shocked that the Editorial Board chose to lead with this story as its main headline. Just “below the fold,” readers found this headline: “Lead levels found in Washington water.” Let’s see: winery complaints about playing by the same rules as all other alcoholic beverage providers vs. unprecedented levels of lead in our water. I would suggest to my fellow readers of the Rappahannock News that I’d like know there are unprecedented levels of lead in my water. Talk about a “bitter pill” to have to swallow. Tb the editors: a majority of Americans want honest and fair reporting; please provide us with unbiased news that’s worthy of serious journalism.
