The Owls middle school volleyball team lost a close match on October 13 to Fireside Christian, 2-0 and returned to Rappahannock to win against Panther Middle School team on October 16 with a score of 2-1. The team lost to the undefeated Riverfront team 2-1 on the 17th but won against Epiphany with a score of 2-0. The middle schools girls finished up their season October 24th, losing against Shenandoah Valley Christian Academy by a score of 2-1.
Junior Varsity volleyball finished its last game of the season on October 19th beating Quantico by a score of 2-0.
Cross Country
The final Cross Country meet was the Sherando DAC tournament held last October 27 during a rain storm. Dan Carrier finished 29th.
Wakefield athletes are holding practice sessions for the upcoming basketball season, as both the girls and the boys teams hone their hoop skills.
