After living in Rappahannock County for 15 years and enjoying
the beauty and glad to have the restrictions that keep the county so controlled, how did the residence of 1466 Richmond road receive the permission from the Board of Review and the Building Department to build a 200 ft. X 16ft. concrete block wall. It looks like it belongs on Rt. 495 instead of Rappahannock County. I am sure all of the tourists who come out this time of year, to enjoy the beauty of the county, do not understand how permission was given for this blight to be built. From what I read in your paper, the Board will not give permission for the Inn to paint a wall, without the approval of the Board. I know this is not in the Town of Washington, but to drive by this blight, in our county is a disgrace. Next it will be a Burger King on 211.
