The firefighting stuff is the collection of eight decades; the dolls came later. It was at an Amissville fire company auction twelve years ago that both Gerty and Paul spotted a Raggedy Arm doll. Since, as Gerty says, “I never had such a doll as a little girl,” Paul bid on it and won. Since then, they have received many, and looked around for others.
