The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby L. Williams of Chester Gap. He is the grandson of Laura V.. Fidler of Huntly and also the late Elais and Mamie C. W'ines from Chester Gap.

Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her mother, the bride wore a traditional white wedding gown of slipper satin which featured a scoop neckline and ballgown-style sleeves with a fitted bodice which formed a basque waist. The floorlength skirt was of matching satin and a satin bow accented the back raddine. Her headpiece was a silk Aral band with a F rench illusion fingertip-length veil.
