Great-grandparents are Mrs. Wade Pullen and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Bywaters of Amissville. Grandparents of the infant are Mr. and Mrs. Doug Bywaters and Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Paig Sr. of Linden. Matthew Douglas has a sister, Angela.

Mrs. Mary Curtis who has been with the Flint Hill post office for fourteen years retired as postmaster as Friday. Mrs. Curtis will be missed but is looking forward to her retirement.
Mrs. Dorothy Lewis, Huntly Postmaster for 40 years, also retired on Friday. She also looks forward to her retirement.

tuition
Tuition at Lord Fairfax Community College will change effective the 1989 Summer Term. The in-state rate will be $26.60 per credit while out-of-state students will pay $132 per credit. Early registration for the Summer term beams'' on April 10.
