“This is a wonderful way to get the freshest vegetables and exotic herbs you may not be able to find anywhere else. But the guides offer an added benefit,’’ said information officer, Catherine T. Belcher, w’ho compiled the guides for the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. “Going to one of these farms can be a wonderful family outing — an experience young and old can enjoy."
