Mamie Katherine Burke, 81, of Delaplane died March 29 in the Lynn Care Center.
Mrs. Burke was born April 19, 1907, in Page County, the daughter of the late Franklin and Margaret Judd Shenk. She was married to the late Raymond Randolph Burke Sr.
Surviving are two sons, Vincent R. Burke and Raymond R. Burke Jr., both of Front Royal; two daughters, Bessie Way, Delaplane and Merle Meadows, Fredericksburg; 18 grandchildren; and 44 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held April 1 in the Burke family cemetery in Harris Hollow with the Rev. James W. Burke and the Rev. John K. Burke officiating.
Pallbearers were grandsons.
Arrangements were handled by Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Marshall Rescue Squad.
