To the editor:
I read with much dismay and more than a little anger the comments made by Jackson district Supervisor Ellis Bingham at the recent Board of Supervisors meeting.
In particular I take great offense to the statement “I get the impression that others (on the planning commission) are taking care of their own self interests.” I would be very interested to know where Mr. Bingham gets this “impression?”
While I don*t know all the members of the Planning Commission personally, I do know they have performed a very thankless job in a very professional manner. In the opinion of myself and many others, they have done a tremendous job in rewriting both our zoning laws and our comprehensive plan, as well as their many other duties.
These actions should merit
