Ten free Colorado blue spruce trees will be given to each person who joins The National Arbor Day Foundation during April.
The free trees are part of the nonprofit Foundation’s effort to encourage tree planting throughout America.
“Colorado blue spruces were selected for this campaign because of their many uses in the home landscape,” John Rosenow, the Foundation’s executive director, said. “They lend beauty to their surroundings with their silver blue-green color and compact conical shape.
