deceased, a non-resident of Virginia TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

PAUL D BROWN (herein designated "Transferor"), Executor and Testamentary Trustee of the Estate of MAUDE LOIS SMITH, deceased, late of Arlington County, Virginia, hereby gives notice of his intention to pay and distribute to the personal representative of the estate of FRANK THOMPKINS THOMAS, deceased, duly appointed and qualified in the Superior Court of California, County of Shasta, the domicile of the said Frank T. Thomas at his death, on or about February 15, 1985, the net residue of the estate of Maude Lois Smith, being the net residue of such estate provided for the benefit of Frank T. Thomas by the successvie wills of MAUDE L. SMITH, of Arlington, Virginia, of FLOY KROUSE, of Atlantic City, New Jersey, and of RENNIE T HART, of the District of Columbia, all three of them being now deceased.

More than ninety days having elapsed since the death of the said Frank T Thomas, such payment and distribution will be subject to the following conditions: (1) receipt of due proof of the appointment and qualification of the personal representative of the estate of Frank T Thomas in California; (2) publication of this notice once a week for four successive weeks in the Rappahannock News, a newspaper of general circulation in Rappahannock County, Virginia, where the Transferor resides; (3) the lapse of thirty days from the completion of such publication; (4) that at the time of payment and distribution the Transferor has no actual notice of the appointment of a personal representative of the estate of said Frank T Thomas, deceased, within the Commonwealth of Virginia; and (5) subject to determination of the Circuit Court of Arlington County, Virginia, of the entitlement of Frank T. Thomas to receive such residue
