This form would then be mailed back to the emergency dispatcher’s office and could then be reviewed for clarity by the emergency dispatchers or, better yet, by volunteers, before filing on computer or in a file drawer right where and when emergency dispatchers need it.
Cooperation by Rappahannock residents should be very high since pfeople would understand that mailing in directions to their home will result in even quicker emergency service than we now have.
My husband and I have often remarked on how very good the emergency services are in Rappahannock, especially given the difficulty of locating some of the houses in the hollows and elsewhere. I hope my suggestions will help provide the emergency service personnel with some further ideas for enhancing their efficiency.
