Members are developing and maintaining a teaching garden on the grounds of the Middieburg Community Center. In 1986 a scholarship fund was established, to be awarded annually to the outstanding student in the Horticulture Department at Northern Virginia Community College’s Loudoun Campus. Norma Wilson of Lovettsville, who plans a vocation in the plant nursery business, is the recipient this year.
