spring concert
The Culpeper Piedmont Choral ^|»ciety’s annual spring concert will be given at the Orange Presbyterian Church, 162 W. Main St. on Friday, May 5, at 8 p.m. and at the Culpeper United Methodist Church, 1233 Oaklfiwn Dr. on Friday, May 12, at 8 p.m.
Lois Shanks, the society’s music director, has selected highlights from Mendelssohn’s beautiful "Elijah” as the featured work. '' Members of the Culpeper-Piedmont Choral Society, now in its twenty-second year, come from six surrounding counties. The two concerts are free and open to the public; however, donations will be accepted dt the door to help in defraying the concerts’ expenses.
