The Virginia Commission for the Arts has set a June 1 deadline for the 1989 Virginia Prize for Playwriting.
The prize supports and encourages Virginia playwrights through a cash award and state-wide recognition. This year’s winner will receive $10,000 to assist in setting aside time to work, purchasing supplies and equipment, and achieving specific career goals.
