We are seeking qualified applicants for the following temporary summer hourly positions in our Warrenton Residency, which includes the counties of Fauquier and Rappahannock.' These positions will be available June 1, 1989 and will terminate on or before September 30, 1989. HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE HELPER: Duties: include, but not limited to: loading and unloading materials, cutting brush, flagging traffic, maintaining buildings and grounds and assisting in routine servicing of equipment. These positions require: knowledge of simple arithmetic, units of measure, equipment maintenance and repair, and basic hand tools; skill in use of hand and power tools; and the ability to perform heavy manual labor and follow simple instructions. Salary: $4.67/hour. HIGHWAY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR A: Duties include physically demanding work in highway maintenance, such as road patching, mowing, erecting signs, bridge repair and other general maintenance duties. These positions require the ability to operate light-duty highway equipment, such as trucks, tractor mowers, rollers, etc. and perform heavy manual labor. Valid Virginia Operator's license and safety shoes are required. Knowledge of simple mathematics and English is necessary. Salary: $6.11 /hour. Send a completed Virginia State application to:
