The competition is open to any professional Virginia writer. An applicant must be a legal resident ot Virginia at the time of application, and must be able to provide verification of residency upon request. Applicants must intend to stay in Virginia during the year.
Manuscripts will be evaluated by a panel of Virginia and out-of-state theater professionals.
