Leroy Brown said he thought that some of the allegations made on the show may have been true, but both he and fellow meat cutter Tim Surface said they follow company policy at the Warrenton store.

“As long as you follow company policy, you’re not going to have any problem,” Brown said.

“Meat cutters take pride in what they put out there,” he said. “Our policy is if we won’t buy, the customer won’t buy it.”

Rouker offered to give concerned customers a tour of the store. “I’ve got nothing to hide.”

But, judging by the responses of the more than a dozen customers in the store Friday after the store, most had not seen the program. Those who did see it did not believe their store was affected.

“I have never had any problem,” said Kathleen Cherry, who was loading groceries into a car outside the Warrenton Food Lion.
