Six foreign exchange students are sharing a year in the United States at Rappahannock County High School this year. They come from Europe, Asia and South America, and they are amazed to find many Americans don’t know where their countries are.
Sari Pelliman from Finland is living with Pat and Dick Helmer in Castleton. She went out for cross country this fall and found herself the only girl on the team. “The guys treated me really nice,” she reported. She won a medal in the district cross country meet and narrowly missed Winning flne in re-’ gionals.
