Christmas bazaar The Amissville United Methodist Church Christmas bazaar will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14. Crafts, Christmas items, apple butter, pecans, baked goodies and much more will be offered. Lunch will also be available.
Advisory committee to meet The Special Education Advisory Committee will meet at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19 in the elementary school library. The primary purpose of the meeting is to review the evaluation component for the 1992-93 Annual Special Education Plan and the Child Study Interventention to be usedfiri conjunction with this component. The public is welcome.
Christmas in Sperryville The Sperryville Business Council will sponsor their annual Blue Ridge Christmas celebration from 10 a.m. to 0 p.m. Nov. 27, 28 and 29. Members of the council will offer seasonal sales, special gift ideas, catalog closeout sales, open houses, free refreshments, antiques galore, wreaths, trees, greenery and Christmas cheer. There will be a raffle drawing on Saturday, Nov. 28 at 4 p.m. at Country Home Antiques for a $450 shopping spree from participating merchants. Tickets may be purchased from any Business Council member.
