COMPREHENSIVE SERVICES ACT FOR AT-RISK YOUTH AND FAMILIES
In accordance with the Comprehensive Services Act for At-Risk Youth and Families enacted by the 1992 General Assembly of Virginia, the Board of Supervisors intends to appoint a Community Policy and Management Team (CPMT) which shall set policy and manage the distribution of services under the Act's requirements. The CPMT shall consist of a representative from the Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board, the Juvenile Court Services Unit, the Rappahannock County Health Department, the Rappahannock County Department of Social Services, and from the Rappahannock County Public Schools. Also on the CPMT shall be the County Administrator and the Sheriff of Rappahannock County. The Board is seeking qualified persons to rill the remaining four seats on the CPMT, which shall consist of two parents (who may not be employees of any public or private agency which provides services to children or families) and a representative of a private organization or association of providers for children's or family services in Rappahannock County.
