The annual bazaar by the Amiss ville United Methodist Women will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday, Nov. 14.
Items available will be crafts, pecans, apple butter, baked goods, and lunch.
The Amissville Ruritan Club will cleanup a portion of U.S. 211 under their Adopt-a-Highway program. Meet in the park and ride lot near Hackley’s at 7:30 for coffee, cleanup begins at 8 a.m. *
The Ruritan Club is raffling a shot gun for $1 per ticket. Also, the fruit cakes are available. To obtain cakes or tickets for the gun, call Roger Cordani at 937-5739 or Buddy Samuels, 937-5972.
Also, as in the past, the Ruritans would appreciate any businesses calling if they can again sell the cakes.
