It’s almost impossible to get two people to agree on what makes good chili, although most would agree it’s a good cold-weather meal. Some people prefer chopped meat and some ground meat; beans or no beans. Plus every chili cook has some secret ingredient: hot sauce, red pepper, garlic, brown sugar, chili powder, red wine, etc. Some cooks use wild game, like venison, while other prefer a vegetarian chili.
